Clayton began the Cognitive and Behavioral Neurosciences Program at Auburn in Fall 2020. He completed his undergrad studies with a BA in Psychology at Auburn in the spring of 2019. Clayton’s research interests include frustration tolerance and alcohol use disorders. Outside of the lab he enjoys distance running and science fiction novels.
Ben has been a full-time research assistant since February 2020. He completed his undergrad studies with a double BA in Psychology and Political Science in 2014. Ben is interested in how stress, cytokines, and addictive behaviors interact. Outside of the lab, he enjoys wildlife photography, kayaking, and science fiction novels.
Allyson is a senior at Auburn University majoring in neuroscience with the intent to go to medical school. Her interest in neuroscience began when she enrolled in Dr. Blaine's abnormal psychology course. As an undergraduate fellow under Dr. Blaine, Allyson's research focuses on hormone levels, emotional processing, and social media use. When not in class or the lab, Allyson is an abstract artist and photographer.
Josh is a junior from Memphis, TN majoring in biomedical sciences with an intent to go to medical school. He has previous experience in a laboratory setting through his year long experience under Dr. Wada in the Biology Department. However, he desired something much more hands-on and patient focused. His personal interests lie in linking alcohol consumption with immune response and disease susceptibility. When Josh is not in the lab or studying for class, he enjoys buying and selling sneakers as well as spending time with friends, in the gym, or on the XBOX.
